So I have completed all the missions via mission replay on LASO, yet one specific mission “The Sequence” (the one with 4 beacons) doesn’t track progress.
It still shows that it’s completed on Normal, even though Ive done a LASO run on it at least 3 times by now.
Im not using any glitches, so its especially painful to be denied the headmaster achievement…
I tried submitting a ticket, yet no response so far.
I realise that a very small amount of players goes for the LASO and yet these players are the most dedicated ones, how could you leave them without support. (I am referring to the achievement being bugged even before the winter update)
I don’t think I have it in me to go through LASO again on a clean savefile and Im incredibly pissed that such a bug is still in the game after a year. (Yes, I know that mission replay has been added recently)
I wanted to hear from other players who attempted and completed LASO:
Did you have any similar difficulties?
Were they resolved or still missing the achievement?
I had this same problem, thats the only one showing i finished on normal and i kept going back and doing it over and over again thinking it was me but nope the game is broken still. just wait like 2-3 more years and maybe it will unlock.
I hope it’s not a MCC situation. Those achievements were so inconsistent and you never knew if they would pop when finished them or a week later. Sometimes never.
I had one achievement for H2A pop while playing Destiny. I was confused at first trying to find the achievement that just unlocked, but then realized it was for MCC. Then I just laughed because it was for completing the second arbiter mission which deals with fighting the flood and I was going through a mission in destiny on the moon fighting the hive.
For my case, the House of Reckoning is considering like finish ONLY in Easy mode
But if it’s only in Easy, why I have unlock all achievements for campaign difficulties (except LASO because the game is still broken) ?

Thank you for letting us know that the headmaster achievement is still locked, we appreciate the time you have taken to complete all the missions via the Replay option.
The developers released a troubleshooting for this issue, while some of these steps might have already been tried on your end, we want to make sure that you followed the precise steps to properly follow up with your achievement not unlocking.
Please read the steps below and let us know if you followed this order while replaying the campaign or if there was something missing, let us know if at any time you are able to try this troubleshooting:
Using Mission Replay via the Tac-Map, replay all main Campaign missions in order and ensure all 12 Skulls are enabled. After completing each mission, use the Tac-Map menu to verify whether the mission was completed on Legendary. For reference the missions are:
Banished Warship Gbraakon
Foundation
Outpost Tremonius
The Tower
Excavation Site
The Conservatory
Spire
Pelican Down
The Sequence
-Ensure all objectives in this mission are completed with LASO conditions enabled. Disabling Skulls or changing the difficulty during this more open mission will result in Headmaster not unlocking.
Nexus
The Command Spire
Repository
The Road
House of Reckoning
Silent Auditorium
If the Headmaster Achievement does not immediately unlock upon completing all 15 missions with LASO conditions enabled, try returning to the main menu then loading back into the save file. Once in game play, play normally for several minutes (navigating through the world, fighting enemies) to see if the Achievement unlocks.
Remember, using glitches or tricks (including but not limited to mission and objective skips) may not mark missions as completed for the Achievement. If you’ve used any of these tricks in your play through, we recommend replaying the mission(s) to ensure the Achievement registers. One thing to watch for if you’ve used any of these tricks is whether the missions appear as completed on Easy in your Tac-Map menu. If so, re complete all missions that appear as completed on Easy.
He was host.
He started a new save slot.
I joined with an old save with a tank gun. He got his during mission 3, so we had two tank guns from then on.
We finished we took 3 days to finish this. about an 2 hours a day.
When we beat the game he got Headmaster, Forza Veloce, and A True Test of Legends.
Ive tried all of this and the achievement does not unlock, the issue is not beating the missions m, the issue is that 1 mission out of the 15 wont register as legendary completion, I have re ran The Sequence 4 times and it will still mark it as easy when all other missions if mine are marked as legendary.
I’ve ran into this exact issue recently on Xbox. Beaten the game via Mission Replay on LASO. Three of the missions (namely Spire, The Sequence and House of Reckoning) did not track and neither did the Headmaster achievement. I ran Spire on Heroic just to see if that would make it budge but no dice, still says I’ve only beaten it on Easy.
Kind of a bummer really, I don’t feel like playing through all of it again.
Not yet , i gave up on Campaign stuff till they address the bugs one day. That one day may never come but we will see. Do yourself a favor and save time by not going for it right now.
