I don’t know if this topic has been discussed but what do you think about this kind of achievements for halo infinite?
Halo 5 was in my opinion the most easy game to complete all the achievements.
But LASO achievements in halo tmcc are just insane.
What do you want for the Halo Infinite achievements ?
LASO has to give an armor. I’ll admit i’m not really cut out for LASO but I believe the people who complete it should be compensated for their skill. Something like an emblem would be kinda lame. Legendary should also give something. People who complete milestones like legendary and LASO should be able to let everyone else know with a nice armor or emblem at least.
Speedrunning achievements are acceptable in my mind since they can be done in co-op. Even better, they can be done with 3 others in most games. I’m not great at speedrunning, so getting help for CE and H2 was vital.
LASO is totally unnecessary. I don’t think there should be achievements that require you to find ways to break the game while playing a mode that is so vastly different than the vanilla version. Speedrunning requires finding ways to break the game, but only to a small extent and even smaller when doing it in 4-player co-op. Completing LASO is an achievement in itself, if that makes sense. It is a gaming feat that should be praised.
If Infinite follows the format of MCC Reach’s list (minus LASO), I think we’ll have a solid list. There was a nice variety of level completion, difficulty, Easter egg, and straightforward MP achievements. The last one is very important because two major Xbox studios (Playground for Horizon 4 and The Coalition for Gears 5) did not do a good job on that front. MP achievements should not require someone to play in a way that requires branching off from the primary objective. Reach’s MP achievements were great - complete game mode x and do it very well. They were plenty challenging and fun.

Yeah, maybe for laso the actual master chief armor would be good.
I really want a LASO armor set. Something to set yourself out like a bad***. Maybe a banished/Mjolnir hybrid similar to hot H5 had Helioskrill for Legendary. Could even do 2 versions. A Brute Minor version for Legendary and a Brute Chieftain version (with spikes and maybe a helmet crest or some shoulder fur) for LASO.
I hate both as achievements. LASO should have a reward like armor IMO. And you can have leaderboards for speedruns but “force” players to do them to get all the achievements, I don’t like as much. But the argument can be made for any achievement or beating on legendary and such
