Okay in forward unto dawn when they show Lasky listening to the distress signal he is bald. however in the game when the master chief sees him for the second time he has hair. why? If any lore experts or people that just know the answer please answer why he is bald in one place but has hair in another.

Probably an oversight, or has something to do with Slipspace not being instant. Then again, does Cryo slow hair growth?
It’s likely an oversight. I don’t think 343i and the FUD group coordinated well as far as Lasky goes. In one of the conversations to MC Lasky mentions that he attended the Corbulo military academy. Thing is, MC already knew this according to FUD. The hair/no hair ordeal is an oversight.
Considering the end of FUD shows the Infinity just entering slipspace, there is probably a very good amount of time between the end of FuD and the beginning of Halo 4.
Chances are after exiting slipspace (and cryo), the infinity likely looked around for a few weeks/months before actually finding Requiem.
The actor is a big name in sci-fi television. They probably grabbed him for that reason. It doesn’t bother me that they look nothing alike.

Actually Lasky does use Cryo regardless. After his encounter with Master Chief at Corbulo Academy, he came to the conclusion that he should just tough it up and do what he needs to do as a soldier. No complaints, no excuses.

sure he already knew it, but being that it was all that time ago, and its reasonable to doubt chief would remember. a reminder never hurts, especially when youre talking to the man who saved your young life and countless others throughout his many years of service.

It doesn’t state it so much as show it. In the last episode he looks into the mirror and sees a Soldier, not a Boy. Then at the end, he is shown as an adult with fresh blisters entering Cryo (with not so much as a momentary pause, or second thought).
The whole story of FUD was about him maturing and realizing his place in the world, and that he shouldn’t let something like an allergy, or personal doubts, get in the way of it.
You see, the thing is, he has male pattern baldness and wears a toupee.
