Me and my brother where screwing around in forge and (I have noticed this before) when you turn into a monitor, you see a Focus Rifle in your Weapons Display. Well we tried to use it. We pressed up on the d-pad and then fired… Resulting in a laser shooting from our monitors center. Im pretty sure someone has found this about before and is probably old news… But I just thought I’d share just in case
Yeah, this is pretty old. Guess Bungie wanted a weapon similar to Guilty Spark’s beam, although it’s just a Focus Rifle, but it got scraped.
Bungie, or now 343, should bring that back
Also, on the map Installation 04 (on the Anniversary map pack) if you go into the small structure by the cliff you occasionally see Guilty Spark floating around behind the glass door. If you get right up close you get a prompt to switch weapons with him, and he had a Focus Rifle too. Unfortunately you can’t actually take his weapon.
