By now, I’m sure everyone has seen what they did to the laser. The nerfed it to oblivion. That thing is so nerfed, you begin to wonder if the beam is really a foam projectile used in kid toys.
Okay, insults to the usefulness of the laser aside (I was trying to be funny, before anyone gets “Locke” happy), the thing used to be a three round burst appearing as a single beam. Now it is a five round burst with the appearance of a single beam. I often find myself either being hit or hitting someone else head on and their shields flicker. Lower at best. Even hitting a tank head on and it taking no damage whatsoever.
Is there any hope of us getting a good laser back? Such as, say, any other laser? Halo 3’s was good.

Rok was at full HP.
This spartan killed that thing in 3 blasts.
A Sword Wraith.
The one with 20% more defense.
Unfortunately, the enemy got the points. Wraith is seriously buggy. It has no health, but that second before it explodes can be used to steal the kill.Then I saw someone kill Captain Wamik with the laser in 1 hit. Full health.

I’ve killed Captain Warmik in one shot with a regular spartan laser. His hp was half way though

I dunno, could that have been because of lag maybe?
Cause I’ve taken a laser shot directly in my flank while piloting a Scorpion and it did serious damage to my vehicle.
I feel like the laser is right where it ought to be, tbh.

I rarely lag, and when I do it’s an enemy teleporting a few feet to either side. Never been hit in the weak spot, nor have I hit the weak spot with a laser. I have hit head on to the front and sides, even a few times from the top, but it smokes at best.
