Highlight = -Yoink- parts/would like explanation
There was this guy from a clan called MEA. Around 7 thousand strong from what he told me. I was watching my bro play when he sent a random party invite. Well I thought he was either a whiny noob or griefer. Turns out he was a recruiter for the clan. This was my bro profile and he has like 5 or 6 friends as we don’t truly care for 50 friends we don’t play with. Well I asked some specifics like the number of people in the clan (over 7 thousand). He said he can’t tell a exact number because other clans will take advantage of that or something. So I tell him I will keep him in mind. He then has to bring out the “big guns.” He mentions that MEA is one of the “original 8” and about 10 years old. Oh and get this: He then says that you can make money from this clan. Oh but there is a catch, you must recruit 1 person per week. This guy recruits about 7 a day. He also talks about what they do for fun: verbal trolling. He didn’t or said little about winning matches, messing around in forge/customs, or just enjoying halo 4/other games.
Conclusion:
Well this “clan” isn’t a clan. It has turned into a big board room on the xbox. There is no problem in that, they have every right to do it but come on. The guy probably messaged everyone in the game making him one of the lowest scorers in the match. That’s real entertainment. And for fun they make people feel depression because I know they could easily beat everything they come across (only real hardcores go to this extent). My advice: don’t join a large clan unless you are looking for a quick buck.
