Hi, I have a problem I try to play the campaign mode with my friend from France we both have good connection but every time we play their is a huge latency which make the game unplayable.
Does anyone had the same problem? If so do you have a solution
I had the same problem. I am in Austria (Europe) and played with two guys from the U.S. and the latency was just horrible.
It was a complete nightmare. I could neither move nor shoot correctly, because it was like my character was moving in some thick liquid, every controller input was delayed to an extend that is unacceptable.
I have never experienced this kind of problem with any other PC or console game. I also could play for example all Halo multiplayer modes (Halo 3, Halo Reach, Halo 4) without such horrible lag. Also for example Halo 3 co-op campaign was no problem.
But today when we tried to play Halo 4 co-op campaign in the Master Chief Collection online, it was horrible, as described above.
I can remember Halo CE: Anniversary online Co-op to have the same problem. This was not only noticed by me, but by many, many other players as well.
As a lot of other games work correctly, I can only assume that the fault is somewhere on the side of the Master Chief Collections online co-op campaign netcode, or something like that.
343i please fix this asap, it is really a problem to launch and sell a game, where main parts are flawed.
Don’t get me wrong, it is ok to have some trouble at the launch of such an ambitious game project, but it is only ok if it gets fixed within a reasonable amount of time.
