Language problem with H5G Help?

I just looked at the preorders today from my store and realised that there is a H5G and a H5G-E edition. The E stands for English.
So I have to decide if I want to buy the game in English or in German. How is this a thing in 2015? In 10+ years old games you can just change the language in the options, but not in Halo 5 in 2015?

Thats a huge downgrade for me as foreign. I want to go deeper into Youtube and Twitch and I definitly need to stream or make videos in english to have a waaay bigger audience. Also the announcer sounds way better in english. Thats why I even put my XBOX on english for the MCC. But that wont help me in H5G right?

At the same time I want to play through campaign etc. in my language. The H5 story looks pretty complex to me since I was never reading a Halo book, HuntTheTruth or anything. I dont even know who blue team is^^
And Im pretty sure that I will have a hard time following the story in English. There wont even be german subtitles.

Why are they doing this?
Am I understanding something wrong?
Is there anything I can do about this?

Wow, that’s unfortunate. And weird. I’m in kind of the same problem (I want to play both in my language and in English), but everywhere I checkI find just a single version of H5. In theory you should be able to change the language by turning the XBOX into English, but now I’m not that sure about it.

Let’s just hope we won’t have to choose :smiley:

I think it was already like that in H4. In H3 you could just turn the console to english.

I guess I will have to buy it in english then :confused:
