I live in Germany but I’m American, is there any way I can buy the German version of the game but still be able to have all the game dialog and controls in English? I can’t buy the UK version of the game because there is no expedited shipping option on amazon.co.uk and I want to play the game as soon as it comes out.
I was trying to get this information as well. Unfortunately I did not find anything official, just speculation. The language information should really be included in the information page of every game in the German marketplace. I decided to try my luck with the chat support. I just asked the support whether the german version of Halo 5 that is available digitally on the marketplace does include the english language. The German support told me “It includes German and English. English language can be accessed if you change the region of the console to english. Please not that this is only allowed to access the language”. I then asked for the source of the information. I wanted to know whether the German support knows this from official Microsoft sources or just browsed the internet. The answer was “from official Microsoft sources”. I’m still not a 100% convinced but decided to preorder/preload after I finish this post. So I will know for sure on Tuesday evening…
I’m happy to confirm that the German Halo 5 version indeed does include the english dialogue, text and everything. Just tried it myself.
