Does anyone else besides me think it’s plain stupid that you don’t get any special armor for getting the LE? Why would 343i do that? It’s plain stupid that you spend 100 bucks on a game and all they give you is a worthless armor skin that doesn’t even have an effect if you’re playing team based gametypes. Also, I’m pretty sure you can’t use the skin on other armor besides recruit.
I think the opposite. They went ahead and made some of the most badass and truly Spartan-worthy armor in the game into the default armor, which I’m pretty happy with. I’m buying the Limited Edition for the map packs anyway, so I could not care less about whether or not I receive in-game armor for putting in extra money

Um you get over 100$ worth of content for a good price. Dont like it? dont buy it. that is your only option.

If you feel that having armor that no one else has will make you special then pre order the console and run around with a unicorn horn on your head. (Even though I don’t think FOTUS looks bad)

I think the armor looks sick, why should it being default stop me from wearing it? Plus, on top of that, I will have a really cool looking racing stripe on it!
The console better come with just a special FOTUS skin… the armour itself better not be exclusive, or the Limited Edition game won’t be a very good deal at all.
Not to be a total jerk but why couldn’t you have just edited your post in this thread? This really doesn’t need to be here at all, yes it’s creating a discussion but it’s also cluttering the forum.
I think skins still show up in team games. I think it’s like armour detail from H3.
I know all of what you get in the limited edition, it just irritates me that I thought I was gonna get a cool looking armor set that nobody else had, and now I’m stuck with an assault rifle skin that I’ll never use, worthless avatar items, and having to download a stupid movie that will come out on disc with all the bonus features on it eventually anyways. The map packs are nice to have, at least. And so are the specializations early, but nothing like the flaming helmet in reach…
The LE was a rip off already anyways, this only makes it worse. Don’t waste your money, save $15 and get the season pass instead.

Why don’t you cancel your pre-order then? Or just don’t get the LE, whilst we enjoy our awesome, fresh content and you’re stuck with the standard edition.

lol to me in NZ that would cost $25 more than getting LE.

Season pass is $25 I believe, meaning that its only 5 dollars away from being its original prices, $30.
Meaning that in the LE edition
You get
Halo 4 - $60
3 Map Packs - $30
FUD - More than likely a $15-$25 dollar value (not to mention its the extended version)
and then all the nice gimmicks…like the schematics and ingame stuff
Case design - $5
All in all you still are getting a deal
