It’s called Kohan no jiin or Lakeside Temple.
In honor of the sakura trees blooming across Japan, I wanted to make a map that featured them, as well as make a Japanese aesthetic map.
The maps is set up for 4v4 Team Slayer and FFA.

It took only 2 days to make and is one of my favorite builds.
Using photos and some imagination, I built out the land around.
The layout of the map was fairly straightforward, but the “barrier” around the map had several different iterations.
Originally, there was going to be mountain wall all the way around, but I changed it to have a lake view.
Getting this map’s cover set up with the rocks was the most challenging part of the map.
Trying to balance cover and open area while maintaining the aesthetic feel was a good challenge
