Laggs even in offlie campaign playing?

Hey folks

since a while I have the problem, that Halo 5 is lagging very much. Even in a offline solo campaign. Since I’m trying to beat the game in legendary it can be very frustating.
I tryed to move the frome the internal storage to the external storage (Toshiba, 1TB, USB 3.0). Same problem. Reinstalled, same problem.

Does someone has an Idea what to do?

Cheers

Push…

I would hard reset the xbox by holding the power button in for 5 secs. The white X on the box itself.
If that doesn’t work there might simply be scratches on the cd. Then you could get a cd repair kit or buy a new game. Other than that I’m not sure.

I broke a completely new game when I was moving my xbox 360 with the disk inside, I’m not sure if it’s a problem with xbox one. I choose to buy a repair kit which is cheaper than a new game and repaired some old movies and games aswell. Great investment.

I already resetted my Xbox, that didn’t worked.
There are no scratches on the CD either, because I take good care of them…

hey man - do the controls feel sluggish?
Check your TV’s settings - switch the TV to ‘Game mode’ or ‘Instant Mode’ usually under general settings. (Not the mode where it says ‘standard, movie, gaming, vibrant’ those are colour profiles and won’t help)

If your TV or monitor doesnt have ‘Game mode’ or ‘Instant Mode’ - no worries, you can achieve the same thing by simply going through the settings and turning off pretty much everything.
Dynamic Contrast - off
“movie mode” - off
etc

All of it off (it’s what game mode does anyway)

Short explanation - TV’s often have extra processes on the video single to make it look better which is great when you’re watching a movie or TV, but when you’re gaming these processes add a delay to the image as it simply takes a few milliseconds for the processor in the TV to apply the effects. What you may be experiencing is known as ‘Input Lag’ where what you’re seeing on screen is delayed due to these processes, makes controls feel unresponsive or sluggish.

Let me know how it goes!
