So we have two xboxes in my house. My bf’s lags out of a lot of matches but mine hardly ever does. If mine does, it is usually the internet. Even if we both aren’t playing at the same time, his will still lag out but if he uses mine, then he is fine. If anyone has some suggestions on how to fix this, I would appreciate it.
Is this specific to Halo at all, or just in general when you both use Xbox?
The Forum Team put together a great post about multiple console support for those with Netgear Routers that might help, this was for those having trouble with Halo 5 but I guess you apply to almost anything. If you have a different type of router, then you might be able to find some here on Xbox Live Support.
Yes, it is just Halo. I’m not sure if it would be the router. Since it is always just his xbox and even when mine isn’t even being used.
But I will look into that info and see if it helps. Thank you.
If his Xbox is running wireless, it might be an idea to try a wired connection for a while and see if it stabalizes any or even the other way around

We tried that too. It didn’t help. I don’t know if maybe it could just be his xbox? I don’t know. I hope not.
