Lagging out of games unusually frequently

From launch until about 2 months ago, I used wifi to connect my XB1 to the internet. The download speeds were slow, but it was stable. I decided to get a 75 ft Cat6 ethernet cable to hardline my Xbox. It worked fine at first, but over the past few weeks I have lagged out of nearly 50% of the matches I play. Everything will be fine for a certain time, no lag or anything, then suddenly the game freaks out for a few seconds and says I’ve lost connection. Not only that but party chat lags as well; for about 30 seconds it’ll say “Connecting…” in the party menu then fixes itself. Sometimes it won’t and I have to rejoin the party.

This doesn’t happen to me while playing any other game on my XB1. It doesn’t happen when I’m sitting at the Halo 5 menus, either; only when I’m playing a match. A friend of mine suggested that the Cat6 cable I’m using is too unstable and Halo 5 has a low tolerance for latency, but I wanted to check if this is a common issue that has happened before to anyone else.

Any help is appreciated.
