Okay. It’s only day 3, I understand that… but here’s the thing.
Where is all this f*cking lag coming from?
The first day it was fine and I’d go like +18 every game, but now everyone is able to take me down with one arm tied behind their back if they wanted; and if I’m close to a kill I’ll just get "ASSIST’ at the last second, not once, not twice, it’ll keep going "+10, +20, +30, WINGMAN. THAT’S ALL I GET. And I know I should get these kills but something is really -Yoinking!- wrong. I’ll take the last shot on the guy I’ve been shooting for about 2-3 seconds and someone else on my team will butt in and get the kill every time; and then I eventually die.
So I’m struggling to go positive now. If this keeps up I’m just gonna stop playing altogether.
There needs to be an option (as mentioned several times before on here) to search for games based on good connection. I’m tired of noobies taking my kills.
The first two days were great. I experienced barely any lag at all.
But today, it seems like half the game have some serious lag. And the game rarely changes host in the event of that lag (and I know it’s not just me- basically everyone in the game was complaining about it).
I think a lot more people have the game now than when the game first came out; so the host selection process is building its “database”, so to speak. It can really only do this by trial and error; ensuring that it can pick good hosts long-term.
Same deal here. First day of the game was fine…So fine in fact I got my first perfection (why is that medal gone?) 33 and zip
Now I can barely kill anyone…my BR/DMR takes at least 5-6 shots to kill and half the time its mostly from headshots not registering. Where as my enemies seem to take me down in like 2 dmr shots, then you watch their cams and their either not aiming at you or are completely off. The other thing I notice from the kill cam is that I’m either not shooting, shooting to their sides(by a large margin like 8ft) or I see my shots hitting them but it does no damage to them.
I think I’m done with xbox. There’s no visible ping in the game and you have no control over where you get your hosts. I would be willing to admit my connection is bad but I have nothing to help me measure it during the game so its really anybody’s guess.
