Ok this is the most frustrating thing in the world.
I cant play the game anymore, I’m lagging more than I’m playing. Every game, I will lag several times where the game pretty much stops, everyone runs in place and so on. Its only effecting me, not the other players, so when I get out of the lag I’m dead every time because I’m just standing there and I get killed.
Its NOT my internet, I’m playing on a wired connection, 125 down 24 up.
Its ONLY on Halo 5.
I have comcast, not TWC.
My NAT is open
Help me, I just want to play my game.

This is a problem that has occurred since launch, but its only gotten this bad recently. It would only lag once every few games, and that’s to be expected. But now its every single game and it happens more often than not.
Also it lags when I play co-op campaign

Hard restarted my xbox one, and played a few online games. Didn’t lag once, not sure if its totally fixed but it seems to have worked in the meantime. I’ll come back to this post if the problem restarts just to let you guys know. Thanks for the replies.

Alright I’ll try some customs and a hard reset, and I’m in the US, east coast.
Now that you mention that, I forgot to mention that I even lag when we play co-op campaign, it’s not just multiplayer.
I can’t help. Just wonder why your up is so slow compared to your down? Just wondering because your internet provider might be cheating you, and you’re not getting your 125 down.

is the 125 UP 25 DOWN what you pay for or was that an actual reading from a speed test?

Yea not sure, I’m not an expert when it comes to internet connections, I just use the speed test on speedtest.net. Not sure how reliable that test really is, but it’s what all my friends use.

Thats just what the speed test says. Not sure what we are paying for I don’t manage that.
switch back and forth between playlists some times a playlist starts kicking me off and loading a different playlist fixes it
Made an edit to my original post but I figured I’d post down here too.
I hard reset my xbox one (held down the power till it shut off) and it seems to have worked. Played several games and didn’t lag once. If the lag comes back, i’ll be sure to let you guys know. Thanks for the replies.
