Srysly? Get good you scrub instead of using a lag switch play the game legit. Even if your stats suck it is what you earned. Kids these days.
This is why they never should have started the whole “Here is your trophy just for being here Bobby” thing.

I believe they’ve changed it that the server will detect you standbying or whatever the term is for “lag switching” and automatically kick you a few games back.

All in all it could be legitimate lag.

I played against a lag switcher in one Warzone match. Grenaded him fortunately.

Very rarely would i agree that someone is using a lag switch since its been discovered and is relatively easy for them to see on their end of the servers but in this case I have to agree with you OP. Several times ill see one player in a group just start jumping around from one spot to another. It could be legitimate lag but it’s occurring rather too often and sometimes the same player twice. I’d like to know if they are still monitoring for that or if they figured it too old school we don’t need to bother.

It was the same guy and it was subtle. He would pop left and right between each burst. No thrusters at all. Just blink blink blink. Once I figured it out I just shot where he was instead of where he is.

You can tell the difference between lag and lag switching most of the time.

This does nothing but prove that it’s natural lag. Lag Switching is not the same as it was in Halo 2/Halo 3. Lag Switching was a tactic people used to get other enemy players booted from the game not to cause you to miss. And if it is Legitimate Lag Switching, they can’t hit you either. If it’s natural poor Internet lag, they can hit you, but you can’t hit them.

Not always yes they can’t shoot you but does that stop them from closing the distance or making a easy getaway to just turn around and shoot you from a few feet away from where they were a sec ago some is lag, but some players seem to lag at the most convenient moments and then stop as soon as your dead.

What you’re talking about does soumd like a lag switch, but at the same time the disabling international restrictions caused the only lag ive ever had.
