Well I experienced a match where someone was lag switching a firefight match. I don’t know why. Guess people gotta cheat wherever possible.
Oh really. It’s possible, what’s the point in firefight though?
If you need a lag switch to beat grunts you might be lacking skill lol
Yeah some people really don’t know that a game is supposed to be a bit challenging.

that is why when i play firefight I abhor acradefight because all that it is, is noobs flying around with Jet packs and fuel rod guns, acradefight requires zero skill. I prefer FF limited but nobody votes for it.

This was my experience with non-DLC Arcadefight from time to time, however, my solution to this was using the experience to learn how to use the Sniper Rifle loadout more efficiently, as well as having a panic room on every Firefight map for tier-3 heretics should they spawn in (Elites with Grenade Launchers, Rocket Launchers, and Spartan Lasers). Basically with the Sniper Rifle Loadout and a little bit of predictability from the AI, you can effectively snipe through a laggy game with three teammates with Jet Packs and Fuel Rods.
And when the tier 3 heretics spawn in, hit the close quarters safe room. There you can be safe from the heavy weapons and safely melee-DMR Headshot the Elites that rush in, while the majority of the Elites rush and kill those FRG users multiple times. Those three wanted to cheat via lagswitching and be the ‘hero’. Let them be when the Tier 3 heretics spawn in XD. Also if they’re cheating, intentionally do not shoot off the phantom turrets with your sniper rifle if they want to lag the game out and rush in with their FRGs.
It’s actually very rewarding, especially if you can get the top score without dying once (While they died 11+ Times with the FRG), as you outskilled and outclassed three people who had to cheat and only know how to use Explosive weapons. You also usually get hate messages afterwards, or they try to invite you to a custom game to have a 1 Vs. 1 to try to make themselves feel better, but blocking and moving on always fixes that.
Another alternative resolution to this is getting a friend who has the anniversary map pack, set the search settings to the most strict, and start the search in Anniversary Firefight. If you are fortunate enough, nobody else will join and you and your friend can have fun in Firefight unbothered. And if somebody somehow manages to join that cheats and uses the FRG, employ the same strategy. The ‘panic room’ on Installation 04 is the ramped set of indoor stairs on the main structure going from the ground to the upper level, so this can be done.
Give these a shot and let me know if either method works for you
