This ever happen to anyone?
You use your Legendary RP boost, expecting to reap the rewards of a good game, but then, out of nowhere, you lag out.
You just lost that boost, and are now banned for “quitting”.
What the hell, 343? Is there no way to detect if someone quits or just lags out? I’m sick of lagging out of matches and then being penalized because Xbox’s servers are acting up, or the other players have McDonald’s internet. Even if my internet is bad, which it isn’t, why does that make me eligible for punishment? My RP boost is gone, which was a Legendary item which probably would’ve given me at least 2,000 RP, and now I have another DNF on my record, and probably just got deranked a bit, too.

And for those saying, “Oh, if they don’t punish people who lag out, people will just unplug their Xbox instead of quitting,” So what if a percentage of players get away with quitting? If someone is desperate enough to go behind their console and unplug their Xbox internet cable to quit, they’re probably going to quit anyway. Banning players won’t deincentivise them from quitting, so stop punishing players who legitimately have an unforeseen issue and lag out. All it does is punish the wrong people, because the quitters don’t care, they just go play Warzone for a half-hour.
P.S. If you could get me my Legendary RP boost back, that would be nice.
I read the title and thought this: Lag runs up to you and knees you where it hurts to be knee-d Lag then rips your Legendary Boost from your hands as you fall to the ground
After that, Lag runs away while you wonder what the heck just happened.

mine wasn’t legendary, but I’ve had the same thing happen to me. The February server update ruined the connection for me. Almost every game has been extremely laggy, and where I was never lagged out of a game before the update it has happened to me a handful of times since.

Yes it has. luckily it was only 1 time. got booted out of the loading screen and lost my boost. Also the victory boost should not be used until you win!!
