Dear 343 fix your server lag and put slayer pro on legendary slayer. also allow us to revote games thanks

And I too would like to see Pro moved to a different playlist or separate game type, AND the ability to select ‘None of the Above’ if none of the 3 maps satisfy me.
I disagree 100% with moving Pro to Legendary. They are far more different games than Infinity and Pro are. And I like having the option of Pro in the main playlists.

Yeah, I would like that feature too.

Without this feature, people just back out of lobbies, which often creates uneven teams. At least delay the game’s start until more players are found.

I’m not saying your going to get perfect games all the time, but implementing the above features would go a long way to solving the main issues with lag, which is poor host selection, no best connection filters and not no local filters.
The host selection method and the way that players are picked are occurs on the server side, so 343 likely does not have to change the H4 game code. They could also implement the user options for enabling / disabling the filters (like “No JIP”, “Best Connection”, “Local Only Hosts” etc.) externally too. So you log into your Halo WayPoint account, go to a new “H4 Controls” tab and then set these options there. Next time your in the Game lobby, your new settings take effect.
I completely agree on your other point on more map selection per game lobby. That was standard in Halo Reach when selecting maps - giving users more than just 3 choices in the Game lobby. That would likely reduce the number of people that quit in the Lobby or at the start of a game because they don’t want to play what 343 is offering. Reach BTB slayer has all sorts of game types offered and sometimes I play assault or CTF (both 1 and 2 flag types), Heavies (with the Falcon too) or just BTB plain and I never see things like I see in H4 where 80% of the players bail because your only choices are Settler Pro, Settler Normal and some other map.
