Was just in a game and it started off fine. Usual me and my friend getting paired with 3 people who were over level 120 yet we are lower than 100. It started ok with us getting it handed to us and us struggling to keep up… then it hit… lag lag and more lag. We sat on a black screen for at least five minutes and then got into the game and couldnt even look around without teleporting around the map. Definitely not something people look foreward to
That’s H4 for you (I’ve been playing since Nov 2012).
Horrible Lag - no user controls to address it (as in Reach) - broken Game play - Broken Maps - but they have “Tuned Weapons” now so that you can die 33% faster now - assuming you didn’t manage to pick up any of the multitude of power weapons on the maps now re-spawning every 30 to 90 seconds.
343 really have no clue what they are doing. I’m now only playing Halo Reach (with ~ 25,000 players) because of how badly 343 has screwed up MultiPlayer in H4.
played yesterday or the day before and joined a game similar to yours, started off fine. then had to wait no joke 9 times it faded to that screen that just shows the teams. it was pretty lame
I played a number of games yesterday that were fine until… the host quit out. It frustrates the hell out of me sitting on black screen as the system tries to find a new host.
I played a game today where a hog drove round towards me on Settler, and I shot the driver in the head about 8 times and although he flinched no shields went down, so I lobbed a grenade, and the hog vanished completely, no kill or vehicle destroyed, then without getting shot my shields popped and I died.
I left the game.
Then I played another game where I managed to punch an opponent 3 times and nothing happened, several times I just died for no apparent reason, even left the kill cam to play to see how I died but it showed nothing but me dying. Its totally pathetic.
