I’ve been having lag issues for like the past week Now. Sometimes while I’m waiting for,my,match to start the background music and all sounds from the game will cut off. I have to exit the game and start it over again for it to go back to normal. Also all of my Arena and Warzone games have been lagging too. Anyone know what’s going on?
343i please hurry up and fix this. I love my Halo 5 downtime and this lag is sucking all the fun out of it.
Are you using a wired connection? If not try temporarily using one to see it it is any better. I lagged a lot before switching.
Me too i stopped playing and booked in NBN in a rage cause it would never register my final kill shot and every kill got away or died then killed me at the same time, i went from average kdr 2.5 to negatives most games due to the final kill shots not registering… also ffa says high latency issues? Where did that come from?
I have wired and experiencing lag, it is the XBL servers, I am getting packet loss when I run the Xbox Connectivity tests. This means lag. I wish they would acknowledge and action.
I have a wireless network I haven’t tried a wired one yet. All I know is that its annoying as hell. I just quit playing it hopefully next time I get on it’ll be fixed but right now its way too much to handle. Its just really annoying.

Anybody notice they removed region lock, then the lag started…
So I tried the wired network and it made the lag twice as bad the menu screen was lagging. So I’m basically screwed either way.

All of these issues started happening when they removed region lock.
I’m tired of this -Yoink-. I am constantly getting horrible games where I lag across maps, kill shots aren’t registering, and the req system doesn’t even load - my spartan disappears when I try to customise it.
Region lock was great. But now I can’t play WZ turbo because of high latency to the dedicated server.
Halo games come with an inherent prestige and class. But alas, that’s not the case these days.

I have noticed the disappearing Spartan also. However I consistently only notice it customizing my Spartan during matchmaking . When the game is connecting after it’s got all of its players and is heading to the server about to be shipped in the map my Spartan disappears for like a few seconds and sometimes briefly reappears before the screen switches to the map.
I’ve been involved with the halo lag since launch. Still experiencing it and have been doing packet captures.
Any of you mind telling me your location?

When Memories of Reach dropped I really had hopes that they would fix the lagging too but I guess that’s too much to ask. I’m getting kicked out of every other game of infection and losing my few bonuses. 343i needs to get its -Yoink- together.
So i just got temporarily banned from arena matches because I kept getting kicked out. WTF?!

Playing halo 5, kill me more times in one afternoon (and I kill less) than 7 years playing Halo’s. The operation of this multiplayer is the worst I’ve seen in my long life as a gamer. I leave definitely competitive arena.
Yea its pretty freaking terrible. And I’m wondering if 343 is actually going to fix this.
