Anyone else seeing an insane amount of lag in Grifball? Last night it seemed that the lag was just completely random. One game everything would be running smoothly, the next game I would be 1.5-2 second behind everyone else. I would lunge at someone with my sword and I would already be dead before I even touched them. I really struggled to even get a single kill with the lag so bad.

check your internet connection. it is probably not the grifball game type

Ok, hear me out if you understand me, I’ll try to explain this THE MOST SIMPLEST WAY POSSIBLE.
Ok, so, here’s my first point of notice that I see:

If you looks closely at the player’s animation, you could see someone teleporting a few yards back, or here’s a better tip to notice lag: go into some random match, and chuck 1 or two of your grenades, if you see some delay in the the grenade throwing, lets say 1-2 seconds. Ya, a lot of lag is in the match.
Second notice: -
Try jumping over an obstacle, maybe jump something, or try to clamber an object. If you notice that you’re teleporting back somewhere you were a few seconds ago. Then there might be someone in the game affecting everyone’s connection. I know this thread’s supposed to be Grifball related, I just want to help out you know.If you find this info helpful, i’m glad you’re happy.

It might just seem like it’s lagging when you grow down the hammer. You might think it’ lagging becauz you don’t kill the guy but he does. I haven’t seen lag so fair but I have seen good players making it seem’s has it lags becauz I am sure they should have died and has not.

yeah they are so annoying
i have some lag… i don’t know if it’s grifball or just my connection. I’ve only been playing grifball as of late, so i can’t say for sure if it is the gametype or me.
Noticed a good bit of lag earlier tonight. Otherwise it’s been pretty much stable.
