I am a competitive player from Singapore and i have been playing halo multiplayer since Halo 2 and I must say, Halo 5 is one of the worst games to play online on lag.
Let me tell you guys why, the game was perfect when the game came out because there was region lock and we only matched Australians/Kiwis and other people from Asia so there was no sort of lag but during the January season 343i took out region lock and now it’s just impossible for us to play matchmaking and my friends and I are just bored of the game. I get it that they did this so we can find games easily, but the shot registration with the pistol is just insanely crap. we get robbed off headshots almost every time, people shoot us through walls when we boost while we’re 10000ft away from the bullet, aim is heavy, melees are even more delayed, Automatic weapons like SMG are impossible to get a kill with unless we have the first few shots, storm rifle recharges before we can get our opponents half shield, spartan charge just literally pushes us 1000000ft backwards so we cant do anything about it, radar makes it so hard for us to put up a flank, weapon swapping is delayed, sprint is delayed. thank you 343i. but this game is so bad on lag i’d rather play halo 3 on red bar. pce out
