Lag exploit (video)

This isn’t a rage post on losing or anything, we won and I got 15/8/9 so I’m happy. But I’ve seen this happen a few times and I’m pretty sure this is something players can do. Because this started happening right in the middle of the game. He went from last to 2nd place on his team. I’m not 100% sure so don’t flame him or anything but if it is an exploit I hope it’s rarely among players. I looked up how to do it and it seems like it’s not insanely difficult. I dunno… proof:

It happened more than twice, it happened to my teammates too cause I watched the replay from their POV but Upload Studio is tedious… and I’m lazy.

Well I wanted to know if it was true but also bring awareness to this issue… I guess they can’t fix it though if it’s players manipulating their own devices. I’m not entirely sure on the whole ordeal. But yeah, if I lost 49 and 50 to someone doing that on purpose I would be a bit mad.
