Anyone play halo yesterday and get disconnected from multiple games (not just you but your entire party)? Also, most of the games were lagging, even customs, with players rubber banding constantly. If servers are going to keep sucking this bad Halo 6 needs to bring back P2P since apparently they can’t even get some decent dedicated servers. As a note, we played with focused selected to minimize possible lag. This just saddens me because I was looking forward to a great gaming experience with Halo 5, after MCC FAILED, and now I get a game that had been playable without lag maybe only 50% of the time. I know 343 realizes their servers are lacking, but they do nothing about it, all they do is take a private server to tournaments so people can’t see how bad the servers really are.
343, instead of adding new modes, get the servers right first. It doesn’t matter how many game modes you “add,” if there is latency and dropping issues.

I don’t this it’s an exaggeration, I notice lag in maybe 50% of games. In the past, part of the problem has been my router (I connect directly), but after upgrading my router to a top tier ASUS router and enabling game mode lag went down. However, I still notice latency here and there at about a rate of every other game. That being said, I do not live in a major city, but my upload is around 5 which should be more than enough for 1 xbox.
It lags less then I see phaetons in Warzone. Have you checked your end?.. because you can’t just go generalizing that all their servers are terrible.

Hmmm, I’m sorry, that’s all I can say… Odd, I only notice it like once every week, for a max of 1 hour, unless there’s an update.

Yeah, my end is fine. 4 of us were playing in a party and we all got disconnected in 3 games. That is 3 different areas in the same state. I believe in 1 or 2 even the enemy team got disconnected.
I run speed test before I play to help ensure their are no connection problems.
I would say that warzone almost NEVER lags for me, which leads me to believe servers are focused on warzone gameplay (cash cow part of the business) instead of the other game types. However, that would be difficult to prove without a vast amount of data.

After updates it is most horrible, I can agree with you there. I usually do not play right after updates for that reason.
I’ve noticed the lag has progressively been getting worse over time, but I actually did notice it was really bad yesterday. I never got disconnected while in game. Though I dashboarded every other time I tried to open a req pack. There were constant screen freezes and people warping. I assume when you get a screen frreze to other players you appear to be warping ?
I didnt notice it any more that normal yesterday. There were a few people rubber-banding in warzone but nothing out of the ordinary on my side

Sorry, NO. None of my games were lagging yesterday, but they are never perfect.
Magically I wasn’t disconnected or anything.
Maybe it was something on your end…
I lag once or twice a week but yesterday and Friday I did get dropped during a match.
Lag has been very prominent. #Halag

Thats weird, I’ve never had problems in Arena.
