Have there been any thing said anywhere from 343i about the lag.

I have had three Host Migrations in one game, unable to sprint, grenade animation delays and enemy and teammates just rubber banding around maps in BTB.

At times I want to quit but fear a penalty may happen if I do.

Is there even a penalty for quitting in this game?

Just quit if the latency isn’t bearable.

You don’t owe anyone favours because 343i are amateurs and intentionally made a game with broken matchmaking.
