I have started having troubles playing halo 5 without lag and it is not on my end it is the servers that 343 won’t fix and get more of them .I have lost so many legendary boost and can’t get them back .
i have had this issue alot too! it sucks cause ive lost vehicles weapons and boosts from the server issues. almost daily thing 4 me
Unless you fulfil the criteria for boost and have it actually used then you will no longer lose it, a change was made for this early last year. It can take a few games for the boost to return but you should get it back if it wasn’t used
I’m done with Halo 5 pvp … I can’t handle it anymore … I get hate mail from people saying I suck but I don’t … before this current issue I usually ended up the top player on my team … 1/2 the time I now have a negative KD … when I get a good connection I end up with 20+ kills and a KD of 10 or higher … bad connection 5 kills and a KD of -11 … You have got to be kidding me …, who wants to play under these circumstances?
It’s not my internet, I have Google Fiber and have 100.1 mpbs upload/101.6 mpbs download and a 4 ping with an open NAT … but I’ll shoot someone 7-10 times and they don’t drop but they shoot me once and I’m dead or they spawn on top of me or appear out of nowhere etc … my favorite is being shot through walls or when someone isn’t even facing me and they kill me … wish i could shoot that well while not even seeing someone …
As much as I hate to say it the most common players seem to be from outside the USA … This issue happened with H4 and I finally quit because it ruined the game … It’s not fun … I don’t mind being beat but this isn’t being beat by a better player … it’s playing a game that is broken …

Have you reset your modem and router lately? Hard reset on xbox? Ethernet cable to xbox?
Yup … do that regularly … after the update today it worked smoothly for about an hour and then i started teleporting again … spartans became bullet sponges … shots i typically hit 100% of the time missed … the game is just broke and in a really bad way …
and honestly, the minute players from outside the USA get involved then the lag starts … not sure why but this problem has plagued halo games since H3 and nothing is done to correct it …
but for that hour it sure was fun again …

thats what happens to us all the time my dude! it sucks but hopefully these updates will do some justice

well we didnt get any baack,i gave it a full 24 hours and never got my boost back so idk.

This is exactly how my games have been since the update (fiesta, slayer, and team arena). Before the update it would start happening around midnight EDT and then get worse until around 3am where it was just impossible to play because of the other players lagging & teleporting. But now it’s happening much earlier in the night for me and on every game.

how do i upload videos so you can see the crap that happens to me on a daily basis? im gunna send it to your gamertag cause this shouldnt fricken happen my dudes… i also never get my boosts back,so someone has to adress this cause its uber annoying and its not my connection or game cause i uninstall & reinstall like 3-4
times a month.

Here’s what I do… I go to game history here on Waypoint, bookmark the game I want. Go into H5 Theater on your xbox. Go to the bookmarks at the top wait for them to load. Choose the game to view, then double tap the X (home button on your controller) then press the Y button to record. Go to the home screen on your xbox on left you should see a new notification which will be your video, click on it. It will take you to xbox dvr to view/edit. Make sure you save to xbox live then share it.

my dude the upload studio doesn’t work for me. but i have tried to link the clips like stikr dude said to do,but no luck…
