I think I am lagging most of the time when my teamates had mics and were talking. I noticed when they started talking I began to lag. And it only happens when my teamates have a mic(from what I noticed). I also have disconnection issues and get disconnected from games when the lagging starts. I envy people that can play with no lag or disconnection issues because this is my favorite Halo game to date regarding the multiplayer. Is there any reason why I keep lagging in almost every Halo game. Earlier today I played a mp game with no lag and noticed no one had mics on my team. How do I contact 343 infustries regarding this issue.

I actually have the same exact problem from what I can tell. It occurs when people are using mics. Although I can’t hear them talk, their name shows them speaking when checking the score. I don’t know if that’s specifically the problem or not. But I also experience lag mostly in the Team Slayer playlist while Arena is fine. On another note, my game will lag badly and boot me whenever I go to fight the Warden Eternal when he spawns in Warzone.
It’s soo frustrating and I’m not enjoying the game as much. Launch night was perfect, no lag and I was having fun and going positive in my games, but today the lag is really bad and it’s effecting my service record. I also hate my team getting mad at me because I seem to be the only one lagging or I’m the only one who can’t play through it. This is probably my favorite game and has permanently taken me away from Density, that game has lag but oddly in that game I don’t mind cause its unbalanced. I hope the dedicated servers get adressed soon, I just want a lag free game where I can have fun in.

Twitter might be the best place to contact 343 for now, but you should move this to the Halo 5: Guardians Feedback section. Maybe it’ll get more attention there.Hopefully this gets adressed soon.
I’ve had no issues with lag or connections. It’s been flawless in that aspect and I’ve played 7 hours already.

That sounds really really good, I wish I had that luck. It was okay the last few days for me but today I’ve gotten insane amount of lag. But you have to take into consideration that everyone has different internet service and may live in a less populated area with access to good internet or a server farm. As well as maybe living outside the states. Hope you’re enjoying your game though!
Try a hard reset of your console. I always lost connection to multiplayer of all kinds until i pulled the plug and watched the power brick die
Ever since I got the game I started purely on the campaign and then after I finished that I went into multiplayer. Now I can’t play a single game due to me always lagging and disconnecting no matter my connection speed which is very good. It’s only halo 5 that I lag with every other game I have work perfect for me. Any suggestions on what could be wrong would be very helpful please?
Same issue happened with me today. I lagged out of a game a few times. I’m frustrated with it because I went from a Platinum 6 to Platinum 5 then I tried playing again and I was lagged out again! So now I’m dropped down to a Platinum 4! It’s not fair 343i, I hope you get this issue fixed. I worked hard to rank up where I’m at and to lose it over lag issues? But once it’s fixed, there’s no way for me to recover my rank again where I was at before this issue occurred. I’ll have to work for it again. I believe that’s unfair to rank someone down over your dedicated servers issue. It’s not my fault at all and to lose my rank? Come on. I’ve played every single Halo game since Halo: CE
I love Halo, but not these multiplayer issues.
Can’t even make it through one match without watching my teammates walk into walls and shooting indestructible enemy’s also walking into walls, then after about a minute or two of that I get kicked out.
I keep getting disconnected while playing matchmaking… Every other game… Only when in a party. It’s not the internet on my end… 343 please HELP!!!
ive seen only one response from 343 throughout all the forums regarding this disconnect issue… you already have our money so now we are just stuck with a broken game? say something… just lie and say you all are working on it or something… and all the disconnecting eats up my xp and rp boosts with no actual reward… i paid for some of those…

I didn’t have any issues until Sunday but since then I haven’t been able to play more than 2 hours without getting disconnected. Most of the time I get disconnected as soon as I boot up matchmaking. Time played 3d 7h 35m
I haven’t noticed the mic=lag connection but I’ve got some horrendous ping on the Australian servers. I usually get 35ms, all ports forwarded, ISP contacted, traceroutes run, can’t figure it out 
I haven’t really had any issues lag wise, but I do notice framerate drops and sometimes my screen freezing for a couple seconds in warzone.
I get blips of lag, unable to summon REQ weapons/vehicles and rare disconnects. My other games work fine.
It’s ten days since release and I’m still disconnecting. It’s always the same pattern. I can open Halo 5 and play one matchmaking game with zero problems then I get disconnected from the next game. wtf is going on?
Okay So 343 really needs to look into this. It’s not fair that 3 out of 5 games they want to disconnect me because of “connection issues” but my twin brother is in the same game with me ON THE SAME CONNECTION and he stays in. Now to add the cherry on top I get banned… Really? I just want to enjoy the game. In other words no you aren’t the only ones dealing with this crap. It’s not fair now I have to enjoy the home screen.
I have been experiencing this problem as well. The game ran fine on launch and the weeks after, but since yesterday, I have not been able to play a single multiplayer game whether coop campaign or multiplayer without lag. Roughly every third or fourth game lags so bad I get booted. I have 40 some odd hours in that worked so nicely, but it’s now been two days off bad gameplay. My connection runs about 17mbps and over 1mbps upload with a ping of around 100, not the best, but certainly not bad enough to explain what is going on.
I would appreciate some light on this situation. Thank you.
