Ok I understand that campaign chief was just running into small groups of unsc at each time, but that was because he would be coming in to the rescue or something. But when the most unsc you see is Hacksaw something is wrong.
But the thing spartan ops is greatly lacking is life. Im not talking enemies im talking unsc. I understand some of these missions being spartans only, like episode 6, but no marines being dropped off to assist, no odst coming in hot to help its disturbing.
I understand missions may be spartan only at times due to risk or something but it dont mean you have other boots hit the ground to assist. But the biggest let down is this weeks episode, I think I saw 10-12 marines tops, no other spartans, no scientists or engineers. the ship was void of human life. Finally see a group of marines and boom fuel rodded or suicide grunt triggered events…
Then there was a announcement of spartans being deployed to curtain areas of the ship and finally on last level you here a team is sent to help crimson and you dont see a single member show up. Am I the only one who feels this way? its like this is the first halo to have a lack of unsc.
Now something I think would help out greatly are ai crimson members, not like miller or palmer where they talk to you on screen, but during cutscenes or if your lacking players theyll feel the slots with designated ai for that level, maybe have 4 others on the team. Each with unique dialog during missions. If they die they respawn like in reach, but you could have a episode where you lose one member and a few episodes later the replacement spartan shows up and the unit is uncomfortable. I dont know we need some sort of life, or connection other then palmer and miller.
