Lack of Social: Multiplayer feels like a competitive solo

The social aspect of the multiplayer in halo infnite feels like a competitive solo. I know some people only play with friends and headset, but it’s not the case of everyone, and with the free play aspect of this game, I suppose it’s not even the majority. And for those, like me, who plays this multiplayer in “solo”, there is no way to bond with anyone because:

  • as soon as a match is ended, you don’t even have the time to type anything in the chat, the loading start, then you’re out of your team back in the menu, to see… the team scoreboard. This is actually a great thing to show to an entire team. But not this way of course. And you could even “hide” your loading behind that scoreboard moment. It should highlight the best actions too, something meaningful for those who plays that game. For example, overwatch does that really well…
  • About that chat thing, it’s not really well implemented and not in a good place in my opinion. When you’re using it to chat with a teammate in a menu, it’s not easy to read because too transparent with the menu. A bottom left, a bit smaller feels a better way to place it. But even with that, it should be more integrate in the game, we should be able to always talk with people as soon as we are in multiplayer, even if no game is launch. like in… overwatch ? -they do the social aspect really well-
  • No option to stay with a team ? to congratulate my teammate ? it feels like you don’t want us to know each other at all. So, we’re all jerks, wanting to do some frags and unlock cosmetic grey things, complete our daily achivements like a job, just killing other jerks…
  • Maybe a POTG system would be nice, even if it can be tricky to program ? I know I didn’t go far for that idea … overwho ? But this is a thing that can be easily improved from what blizzard has done: using a cinematic or third person camera and a bit of slowmotion would make those epic moves even more epic, and I’m sure it’s totally a possible thing.

Maybe your goal is not us to bond as player. Maybe you just want us to spend money on a battle pass or in the shop. But first, this part isn’t really user friendly or even attractive for now. And secondly, the needs to use cosmetic, is a social need. So the game should have a strong social side. If I don’t care about my teammate nor the adversary, I don’t care at all being a grey generic spartan, I just want to frag. I can even more understand why some would cheat, they just want to kill, they don’t even care to be good or to have fun with others : they just care for themselves. So the social side of a multiplayer focused game is important.

that last part reminded me of something else : No kill cam, really ? Why, so we’d need to go in theatre mode at the end of the game to check if the guy cheated or not, so maybe we forget ? This takes me to another aspect of social in the game : we should be able to report, block or avoid. Maybe it’s just not yet here because this is a beta, but in case I add it here. (honestly, in 2021, I can’t think nobody thinks about that)
EDIT : I just found that one after looking more (after a game against 2 wall hacks), so I’m sorry about that, I’m wrong. Maybe it’s not the easiest way to find it, but it’s not that hard. I let it in my comment for clarity, but this thing exist, my bad.

Otherwise I have a lot of un in this game, the feeling is awesome, there is just some parts (like this one) that needs a lot of improvement yet.
