Lack of news and purpose of Bulletin

Today it has been announced HALO: Initiation a new comic series from Darkhorse. One week ago was announced on Marvel’s june solicitation a TPB for Uprising, Helljumpers and Blood Ties. The pre-order of HALO 4: FUD is on amazon.co.uk since two months ago.

So, what is the purpose of Waypoint and the HALO Bulletin? I really feel is wasted.

The main point of the bulletin is mostly to talk about things going on with in 343i, granted BS Angel should have a slight run down of “What’s going on with in the Halo series” like things you pointed out. But I also don’t think those kind of announcements should be limited to the weekly bulletin.
