me too, I’m not going to buy it
Don’t be so lost. If you play the DLC pack-specific gametypes, there are options of SWAT on the Majestic DLC maps. SWAT on Skyline is incredibly fun, but SWAT on Monolith is a fight across the map for First Strike. Kind of like Countdown or Sword Base (and that’s not necessarily a good thing).

Well unlike you, I actually like Monolith on SWAT. And the other maps. It’s such a waste of money to be promised that DLC will be on the SWAT list and it isn’t. It sucks… I never wanna play halo again
“GAME TYPES: SWAT
MAPS: Haven, Adrift, Complex, Abandon, Solace, Shutout, Harvest, Landfall, Monolith, Skyline”
They are on there…

Thats my point, idiot. It says they are on there but they aren’t.
Just because the game tells that maps are in a gametype and don’t show up, it dosen’t mean they’re nonexistent. Take Reach for example, you know how annoying it is trying to get that “infect 3+ people in one round” DLC achievement? Nobody likes infection in that playlist anymore, and it gets instantly outvoted, thus not showing up. If a majority of the community veto the same map/gametype continuously, the servers (or 343) will see that and start to tune the odds down. You were just a little late to the draw with the initial rush of people in that playlist. Also, the DLC lists are moshpit style, not solely SWAT.

Technically, the DLC is on SWAT. Technically, but not literally. So whats the point of buying the season pass, waiting months and months to find out I’m only gonna be waiting even longer for people to buy the DLC and hope that it’ll even show up by then? That’s some serious devotion and patience I’m not willing to pay the company anymore on top of the 25 bucks. They’re losing players faster than a speeding bullet. 2 months ago, 25,000 on BTB. 20,000 on Infinity Slayer. Now, 15,000 BTB 10,000 on a good day. That’s a lot of friggin players to lose in 2 months. Proudly, I’m one of them. This franchise will die a very sad and lonely death.

By the way, Reach had 9 close quartered launch maps. NINE. Halo 4, took the “4” literally, and had 4 close quartered maps at launch. FOUR. Then what did they do? They made us wait from NOVEMBER… Until FEBRUARY to release 3 more close quartered. Did it stop there? NO. They are releasing even more BTB, making a total of like what? 25 BTB maps and 7 close quartered??? And 3 can’t even be played due to lack of players buying them? Ridiculous. Halo’s never been so far under water.

Last time I checked, you could not read into the future. I have faith this franchise will come back even if some of these self-proclaimed “true” Halo fans have given up. I will not. If you want to be proud over some useless accomplishment like quitting a game, so be it but to me, your life seems very dull and boring to be pleased over something as trivial as that.

Franchise will come back? With GTA 5, New Consoles, Watch Dogs around the corner and even more next gen games to be announced at E3? I seriously doubt it. This was 343’s chance and they blew it.

Like I said, you cannot read into the future nor will anything be gained with a pessimistic attitude. I will continue to support Halo even if others aren’t willing to.

True Halo fans will never abandon their hierarch, be it Bungie, 343, or whoever takes over next. As for the pass, lol I got the special edition, as I do with every Halo since H2, even if they screwed up the previous. Reach was a prety Shizzy game, but people still got H4. People, in some cases JERKS, cough you cough, may abandon something for some very stupid reasons and start saying how bad something is because “it looked at me funny,” but there will always be those supporters who, for better or worse, shall follow their passion to the end of it’s line. Bungie was our hammer, and we were it’s army. 343 is our shield and the few of us who survived the last 3 wars (H3, ODST, Reach) shall serve and protect our new king as we did the many years past. If you don’t like it, then let a gold hunter come down from the sky above and stomp you into a six foot hole where you belong!

Lol right. Well, I’m gonna be busy playing Destiny on the new console. Have fun with this piece of crap
What really won’t get you anywhere is attaching fellow community members. Your OP was less than clear about what you thought or knew about maps in playlists.

Destiny is an MMO-like FPS with a social co-op experience and very little competitiveness that has been said to be made accessible to everyone. Pretty much the same thing everyone is complaining about Halo right now. Yes, have fun!
>
The only difference is, Bungie knows what they’re doing.
>
Right, they definitely showed their skills when they made Reach!
/Sarcasm
P.S Don’t start blindly praising a game when it hasn’t even been released yet, let alone showed any gameplay besides that little 5 minute preview.

At least Reach had a decent handful of maps at launch. Halo 4 started with 4 CQ maps. Now theres a total of 7, which 3 can’t be played because nobody bought them lol So yes, Reach, sad to say, did do a better job. I bet halo 5 will start with 5 maps. And which case, I prefer a “5” second preview of Destiny over this game any day.
