Hey guys I went to bestbuy I’m looking for anything to up my halo game they had a pack of kontrol freeks which I purchased. Now it came it 2 green low ones cqc and 2 classics which are very tall. Is it best to use the same 2 or can I go small on the left and tall on the right? What do most people do or do people not even use em?
I have the Elite controller. Using the small one on the left and taller on the right.
I find it better for aming. 
So try every version out. 1 tall. 2 tall. And viceversa.

trust me…me and everyone I play with agrees that KF make you aim worse in Halo.
I ordered SNIPR thumbsticks from Kontrol Freek and they’ve made a big difference. It’s become much easier for me to aim, I’m not constantly changing my aiming sensitivity and I’m winning more gunfights. You should definitely get a pair of thumbsticks.

If you dont use deadzones and taller sticks. You can more easy do the small aming changes in a fight.
I use short on the left and tall on the right. I have experienced a noticeable improvement to my overall game. I win most gunfights that are on an even field, and earn more reversals now than I did before I purchased them. Good cheap investment imo but don’t try to go back to playing without them, thats damn near impossible!

well ok then…but let me say again that KF are made only for CoD…and you will be at a serious disadvantage if you use them in Halo…

I switched my right stick to a taller one on my elite controller. It makes a difference on precision aiming.
I have an Elite controller and I tried the tall and medium ones on the right thumbstick, couldn’t aim for -Yoink- with them. I’m to aucoustume to the short ones. And I dont want to go through the learning curve so I leave them alone. Hell I’m just now getting the hang of paddle 1 and paddle 2.

Why would halo be different? The reason for a higher stick is you can make small movements with your aim. Instead of the small which you cannot. You sir don’t even know what you’re talking about. The conversion from small to tall is proabbly why you sucked with them. It’s like changing your sensitivity and trying to get used to it. I sucked when I switched to longer sticks but I knew the overall affect would be better so I stuck to it until I was used to it.

KFs don’t work as well bc of the BIG TIME aim acceleration. COD’s aiming id more precise and respve, so the smaller movements and bigger ones are 1:1 with the sticks. In Halo, the small adjustments can be made (with a little more effort), but the bigger movements are harder to make (bc of the aim acceleration). With these smaller maps, bigger movements are just as important, and the taller stick will make you a slower moving/reacting target. You may be able to get away with them in Platunim levels, where people don’t thrust around and strafe as much, but mid Diamond and Onyx levels, you will get DESTROYED.
Return that overpriced mess and go get a foamy lizard pack off amazon. You’ll get a grip skin which is the only thing I use and it helps some much if your like me and squeeze the controller tight. It also comes with multiple variants of thumbsticks.
Hey man i just bought a pair of these in a CQCX i personally feel that the high rise sticks will handicap your game. COD is a game where you can easily place yourself further away so they do benefit but halo you have a mix of close and cross map shooting constantly. So honestly try out what works best for you! I will be messing with My CQCX’s and my Domed Scuf sticks to find WHAT WORKS BEST FOR ME! best of luck to you!

I personally use the short on the left and high rise on the right, but if you are concerned about the affect you can always put two shorts on. Or just not use them, the whole idea is entirely preference.
