Hi guys, SKULLZ4BAWLS here. I recently played a game of big team where I saw an SR 56 with the covenant stance and the horn helmet (you know the one.) yet she only had 2066 kills in war games… I realized immediately that I was dealing with a modder. I sent a report for cheating and then decided to make a post on here. Now, we all know there are modders in Halo 4 however most of them get banned in no time for cheating in-game. However, some do make through 343 systems and I don’t like seeing them. maybe your asking me why I said “She”. you see her gamertag denotes a female player and if there’s more proof needed she also sent a friend of mine a message on live admitting to it. he said that he’ll keep the message up on his account if it’s needed for proof. Let’s keep the modders out of halo 4 multiplayer guys, C’mon.

You’re not supposed to single out gamertags on the forum.
To everybody who says ‘Dont single people out on the forums’ Are technically supporting the longevity of the modders and hackers. What we need is a thread used to report hackers, where we can post their gamertags, then 343 can personally investigate and take it from there.
So yes, posting hackers and modders gamertags should be done so the filth can be removed from the online community as soon as possible.

Well it doesn’t matter, because it’s against forum guidelines. When a mod sees the thread, it’ll get locked. So yeah, anyway…

It’s not a matter of “should they be reported or singled out?”. It’s specifically against the rules of the forums.
and the problem with creating a thread like that is people would just be posting gamertags left and right because they got mad they lost, don’t like the person, etc.
EDIT: Eh, looks like Quacker beat me to it haha

People could post a link and video to the game as proof. Complaints that everyone thinks are legitimate would most likely receive many thanks in comparison to ones that aren’t.

Why not allow people to report them in a specific thread, with an efficient amount of evidence against them? This is stupid, no matter how religious you are to this stupid rule.

Because it shouldn’t be done publically (I.E. as not to shame innocent people and label them a hacker). If you suspect someone of hacking you should report them privately to 343 or Microsoft.

> The best thing you can do is report the user by selecting the user’s Gamertag on Xbox LIVE, selecting “View Gamer Profile, “File Complaint,” and then select the appropriate action.

I’m SR64 with only 1923 kill and I didn’t mod anything, so how is this person a modder?
EDIT: Oh, do you mean she modded her armour/stance?
Okay, hold up people. Time to set the record straight. While i agree with many of you in this thread,(which is why i edited my post and removed the names) I have to agree with wangtim3 because there is no place to report someone such as this on the forums. What about a thread where all the posts are hidden and can only be read by forum admins and 343 staff. Well, that still doesn’t cover Ruin’s problem of false reports. However, don’t you think it would be easy for 343 to single out the modders/hackers in game just by looking up their account info…? I mean there’s only 2 ways to get the covenant stance and that’s weapon kills or modding.
I understand why there’s no posting of gamertag’s on here and that’s fine I’ve already sent an email to 343 about it so… I mean I know none of you want to get killed by a covenant carbine that shoots gauss warthog rounds, or a spartan without a head to shoot in SWAT. (look it up on you-tube, kinda funny)
P.s Yea, Juggarjones that’s what I meant. it’s the stance vs. kills that drew my attention.
These issues are rampant.
Seeing people with 2500 kills and rare armour or stances commendation status’s can be disheartening.
Until you own them and are reminded that they still suck at the game, and its why they need to cheat.
