Know your enemy

Almost from the beginning, Halo Wars 2 had the “title” Know your Enemy, like Halo 5 had the Hunt the Truth.
So, I’m curious, after you played the game, does that “Know you enemy” line make sense in the game story? Is it relevant? Or barely nothing to do with the story/events?

Considering the Banish being as mysterious as they were in the lead up to launch to both us and to a larger extent the protagonists in the game? Yes, the marketing line fit great. Atriox and the banish showed us what we were dealing with and Cutter and co. showed up.

Know your enemy was about scouting the enemy and countering their army, the primary gameplay element of both multiplayer of campaign. Story wise it may not have had too much to do with the game but it definitely wasn’t false advertising. The armrest and car salesman ads both support that the slogan was about how you play the game and the strategy behind gameplay.

Good to hear.
Those ads were good too.
