I will segment this by game:
HaloCE
1 the bandana skull in the original remaster did not reduce score to 0 if this is to be a remaster and not a remake this needs to be reverted
Halo 2
1 Due to the enhanced frame rate every fps reliant glitch/trick (most notably the sword fly and sword cancel tricks) for speedrunners is twice as hard, maybe add a 30 fps mode if this cannot be fixed any other way
2 why does the iron skull restart solo progress it had no effect on solo play in the original game and again makes this remaster a remake
Halo 3/ODST
1 again speedrunners tricks like hammer launches that we’re physica/fps based are now twice as hard
Halo 4
I do not play this title enough to know feel free to comment any inconsistancies.
Overall:
Achievement tracking - as someone who works full time as most nostalgia Halo players I assume do at this point completing something like the Legendary MC Saga is daunting on it’s own and even more so now that every update we receive means we have to start over because progress tracking breaks. I have now don’t the legendary playlist 1 time and the normal 2 times and neither achievement pops.
Campaign Stability - this game shouldn’t run worse than playing the Xbox 360 versions through backcompat online on the X1X something regarding the campaign lag needs to be done but it’s nice to be able to play Halo 2 coop online now
General Wishlist-
Halo Reach - can be campaign only for all I care
Make the insider build share the normal achievements list
Volume category sliders
Events that reward loyal players with more than an emblem - maybe special halo infinite armor sets or something and also have long term community and individual goals for items in infinite
