I would be funny but more and more of us get kicked off games because the servers loses us !
It would be hilarious if it wasn’t true. 
I live in the US and have been getting disconnected lately as well, and it’s not my internet, I pay extra for the good stuff. I think there are some server problems, not just regional ones.
Don’t know if it will help overseas players but it’s worth a shot. Forward ports for halo 5 in your router, static ip on xbox to keep those ports open, switch from instant on to energy saver.

I open more ports and that seems to help. 3074, 53, 80, 88,500, 3544, 4500 seems to help a lot.

Speed means very little in Halo, if your ports aren’t open and you aren’t refreshing your Dns cache, you will have drops.

They’re open and caches are refreshed often. I know how this all works. I think they’re having server problems. It’s only been an issue since yesterday, the game’s run perfectly for since launch otherwise.

I think the current issue is traffic related from the Christmas rush. Hoping to see if that would help the overseas people a little, high latency to server will always be a problem.

That’s what I’m thinking also. There was also that Ddos threat that never happened … maybe they’re still trying to knock out the MS servers.

Very possible, the world is full of dbags.
I think you mean connection. Contention is what these forums usually are, the bad connection for some people may be what is causing this contention.
