Hunters are big and slow, Prometheans are big and fast. I would bet on the Prometheans.
The knight, only because of that damn teleportation…
I would put my money on the Knight(s) only because I am familiar with Hunters and know how to take them down.

Prometheans were designed by the Forerunners, so that they could defend against the Flood. I bet a Knight Battlewagon could take on five hunters an still come out on top unscathed.
A Knight Battlewagon would simply need to teleport behind the hunters and use dat incineration cannon.

Well considering a single basic knight id just a little stronger than an elite, I would say hunter, however if you take the strongest knight varient shiver I think the hunter may have a problem.
Hunter Would win the Armor is to tough for a knight to hit strait on the AI Wouldn’t think/know of hitting it in the back , The hunters are far more dangerous anyways , Walking tanks , the knights are the infantry, he captain of the knights would stand a chance though.

The highest rank knight would obliterate a hunter.It wouldn’t be fair putting up the regular knight up against a hunter,put the hunter knight.

Eh I don’t want to argue over something like this so Its all opinion really, But My bet is on the hunter.

No offense but technically it wouldn’t be an opinion,we’ll find out which would win when the game launches.

Scenario: Knight Vs Hunter
Knight goes in for a quick bash
Hunter hits it with its arm of death
Knight gets stunned and retaliates by deploying watcher
as the knight is fight the hunter the watcher spawns the crawlers
Hunter kills the Knight with a few blows from the FRC
The crawlers go in real close to the hunter not know its weakness and attack the hunter slams them all
Watcher tries to resurrect the Knight and is blown away with a fuel rod blast
Thats just how I see it though
lets experiment by hitting and shooting gel torso’s that aren’t mass equivalent of the actual two creatures using their weapons then run a computer simulator of 1000 fights between them then we will see who is deadliest.
I would go with the knight.
The knight would just destroy…not even a fair fight!

I think from what we’ve seen all the close up kills they go for are insta kills,also watchers are really fast and the fuelrod gun is very slow and they don’t stay up close they prefer to stay away and shoot from afar and as soon as a knights shields are blown out is when the crawlers get up close,they also surround the enemy so a slam will only kill the ones in front,they can also position themselves on walls and ceilings and move very fast where the hunter is slow, the knight could have the ability to teleport also you forgot the watchers can shield the knights,and while the hunter is distracted the watcher could cme in and revive it.
It isn’t as simple as you think.
It all depends on the situation. It’s like saying Ninja’s always beat Samurai’s.
I think the Hunter might beat everything, but the last two Knights especially the Battlewagon.
They should have chosen a better name than Battlewagon.
