Knight blade or Bayonet?

Other than the Knight blade being able to do extra damage and knock back to vehicles whats the difference between the Bayonet and knight blade? does one have a longer lunge range or damage or anything like that? i don’t use either of them allot so i’m not too sure

Bayonet is a one shot melee to full shielded Spartans, while the Knight Blade isn’t. Also, if a weapon has a Bayonet, it can have any type of sight, but a weapon with a Knight Blade can only have it’s stock sight.

Sounds like the bayonet is better

The knight blade is really good against vehicles, however it’s REQ level is 8 so it isn’t very practical in late game, however it can be useful in WZFF against boss vehicles.
You should see this video, they compare both attachments.

Search Aozolai on youtube. He has lot of videos with very good explanations for weapon attachments, weapons in general and vehicles… I think that bayonet is better anyway. Bayonet plus increased strength = one melee kill

Bayonet is so much better than the knight blade. The bayonet can one hit kill full shielded Spartans unless they have the ‘upgraded shields’ mod. Most of the time you aren’t going to get close enough to a vehicle to use the knight blade so its not the most affective option.

Bayonet - it’s actually a wee bit more powerful than the knight blade. Which is hard top believe considering that the knight blade in H4 was a one hit kill.

I honestly think that the Knight Blade should be a Level 7 REQ instead of 8. More importantly, why isn’t there a “Knight Blade SMG”?

Maybe lower… there isn’t? Hah shows how much I actually use the thing

Everything here shows why the regular bayonet reigns supreme over the Knight one.

If the knight blade does knock back vehicles then I can see very little difference because I tried it in forge on a worth of and I just managed to push it a few inches. Besides you will most likely find yourself against another spartan than a vehicle especially if you are guarding the armory or other closed spaces
