It is mid-way through an assassination, that is what Assassinating a Promethean Knight looks like.
Assassinating
Spartans used their Knives in Reach for assassinations. The Spartan IVs are doing this too. It has been confirmed that the number of assassinations have been increased from Reach.
I was surprised the Promethean Knights could be assassinated due to their size but that just show’s how tough the Spartan IV’s can be ^.^ and yes, the Spartan uses his knife to take the construct out.
The Knife itself is not a weapon you can switch to either. It wouldn’t be used much IMO since we have that extra ammo package and the fact that dying in Halo is inevitably that resets your ammo to full when you spawn.
Yeah, that is the animation for a Knight assassination. Can’t see the point in a knife as a weapon anyway, unless your out of ammo…

Running out of ammo in Halo 4 (especially Halo 4) seems to be non existent as you can spawn with two weapons and pick up ammo from dead bodies (not to mention your ammo refills when you die). A knife wouldn’t have much use and you are liable to get you’re self killed charging around thinking your going to ballistic knife someone.
What i am saying is that you accomplish the same thing with a melee w/ a weapon than just a knife. You can at least defend you’re self down range with a Magnum, AR, BR, Carbine etc. A knife you can’t.
So instead switch the Energy Sword and Slice em and dice em.
