So I recently bought the Halo Wars 2 Kinsano DLC pack and to my dismay the DLC pack will not install. On the Microsoft Store page it says the product is installed but I can’t use the leader in game as it shows her with a lock symbol and it directs me to the store where it says the product is already installed. The DLC is currently sitting in my ready to install tab of my manage game for Halo Wars 2 and every time I select install on it nothing happens. My only options when I hit the start button on it are to install, go to store details, and help and none of those options does me any good. I’ve tried just about everything and have contacted Xbox support three times already to try and fix the issue and so far nothing has worked. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the game, reset the console to factory defaults, removed and added back my account, closed and re-open the game, literally I think everything. I am targeting this post more for the developers to see than the community because I think they are the only ones who can help me at this point or at least make sure this issue doesn’t occur for anyone else. I know there isn’t anything wrong with the install function of my Xbox because I’ve downloaded similar DLC packs like Sergeant Johnson and Colony with no issues prior to buying Kinsano. I’ve also uninstalled some of those leaders and reinstalled them to make sure. It literally is only with Kinsano that I am having this problem. I hope someone can help me fix this issue as it is a rather annoying one to say the least. Thank you for your help and your time!

I am having the same promblem. I tried to install kinsono but it does not work. All the other leaders installed with no issues just kinsono… You are not alone.

I’m also having the same problem. Rang Xbox support and they said the same old hard reset your Xbox etc… that didn’t work. I downloaded the DLC and opened the packs. Now the character and the cards I got from the packs have disappeared. Not happy about this can anyone please help?
Same issue over here. Have literally tried everything. It seems as though for some reason whenever it gets installed the Xbox defaults into putting it into leftover add-ons rather than tying it directly to the game. Leftover add-ons by the way are add-ons that the Xbox thinks you still have after deleting a game. Have no issues with any of the other leaders.

I had to factory reset my Xbox one and now I can’t download the Kinsano Leader pack, can this be fix asap!!! Stays in the ready to install under manage Halo wars 2, click install and does nothing!!!

Same for me as well, spent 2 hours on microsoft support where they had me reset alternate mac addresses re add my account and such to no success.

We need to get in contact with 347. WinterxReactionx and I( I am dodger) sent Ste7ch a message. But if this is going to get attention we need to keep reaching out to them and informing them of this promblem.
When I was on Xbox support last night the support staff did mention near then end that one of their senior tech engineers informed her of a known issue with this DLC that they were working on and suggested I wait to see if it was fixed through regular avenues. I have conceded to wait at least the weekend and possibly a few days into the week to see if they hash out a fix.
Same problem here, spent an hour chatting to xbox support this aft trying to sort it, in the end he gave me this forum to see if anyone here had any luck in getting it sorted yet. Its obviously a problem with the Kinsano pack as Colony and Sergeant Johnson installed okay, why can’t they get it fixed!
Sucks too one of my dailies needs me to actually be able to play this DLC

Any chance of this actually being fixed, surely a big game developing company like this one should have found a solution by now, I spent good money on Kinsano yet still no luck, Ive tried every single “fix” yet no luck, now it is just sat in my “ready to install” tab when I click manage game on Halo wars 2 and when I try to install it it literally does nothing. One thing for sure you wouldnt have this problem on a command and conquer game on any console!! Amateurs at best must be trying to fix this!! Funny how nothing ever seems to glitch or go wrong when it comes to taking our money!
My Kinsano isn’t downloading, same leftover add on garbage as many of you are experiencing, on top of that, my main account won’t let me search, its been two days where it sticks me in the searching menu even if I’m with a buddy, I love this game and this company, but this is running my patience.
Same pretty soon I will just report it to my credit card as something I was sold but never received and they can charge it back, this is stupid you cant sell something and then say sorry by the way you cant have it because of a bug we never intend to fix… That is literally robery.

I know right its like we made sure our payment system is literally flawless but all of the rest of the stuff we programmed is bugged to the max sorry. We took your money good but the rest of it… well, thats okay we got our money…
I have missed two sets of dailies now that needed me to be able to use this DLC, it is purchased but not playable?? seems absolutely ridiculous…
