King of the Hill?

This just recently occurred to me, why haven’t we got king of the hill, or even oddball, or other great game modes from the classic games. Strongholds is not a suitable replacement to KotH. It was one of my favorite game modes from halo 3 and reach, why remove it now? Does anybody know if it will be returning or could we have some info from 343 as why it was not included in the game.

No clue. They might add it in later, but who knows. It depends if the pro players want Koth instead of strongholds.

Personally I would prefer Koth than Strongholds. Strongholds gets repetitive after a while.

Strongholds is fine, but it’s more of a domination type game. Koth would fill a different role, and be a good addition to free for all instead of just slayer.

Iv been complaining about this for a while now, KoTH is one of best gamemodes for ffa IMO but yet it’s no where to be seen and oddball is in the game appat but it’s not in matchmaking. Real dumb if you ask me.

Wish we had Koth. Koth > strongholds

You never no we might get lucky and 343 might decide to add it in hog wild, unlikely though.

I would love to play some KoTH on Halo 5… I too was disappointed it wasn’t included from day one. I guess Strongholds kinda fills the void, but it’s just not the same!

They should give us Dominion and KOTH both, as well as Strongholds.
