Ok, so now that KOTH is back in Team Objective, I remembered why i stopped playing it.
I just had the worst KOTH game I’ve ever played; not because we I lost or I did poorly, but because of how we lost.
They gained the lead (we had one guy being AFK, of course. Couldnt be bothered to turn the stupid game off), and when the Hill switched to that wide open space at the tree, the other team…did nothing but pick us off with DMRs.
Not because they were covering their teammates in the Hill; they were just doing it to do it.
Literally, NO ONE on their team, for the rest of the game, stepped foot into that Hill. They camped up on the middle buildings roof, and just DMRed us until the Hill just up and moved on it’s own. But that Hill stayed for the majority of the match.
I didnt think it was possible, but I despise Complex even more now. It’s games like these that make people just LOATH the DMR.
On that note, why in God’s name does Solace STILL have an Incineration Cannon when playing Hill? That’s so stupidly broken! I mean, I was never big on objective games, but I’d expect better than this nonsense.
In short; they camped and DMred us to death without even really holding the hill.
