I recently read an article, which I have lost the link, of Frank O stating there will be little to no Kinect use in they game. Now I know Kinect has little to no use in the actual game - anniversary proved this - but as an extra for things like menu function and I think it would be awesome for Forge. What do you all think.
P.S. - I will try to find the article with Frank talking about this and post a link.
i thought it was an interesting feature, didn’t use it that much after i scanned everything but i thought it was pretty good, it was a milestone the gaming franchise. being able to speak to the kinect and the game reacts to it.
“Okay, I have worked for several hours on this map, now to place the final piece”

Who says they need to use gestures? They could still use Kinect just for the voice commands. Would make it quick any easy to rotate or move, for example, if you could just call out an angle.
thank god they aren’t wasting valuable time and resources for kinect…
but i suppose, for the people who have it, it’d be useful for voice commands or menu navigation gestures or something.
I would prefer them to spend time making the game better or adding some extra features that we will use, rather than spend time working on something gimmicky that a minority of people will use regularly.
No kinect for Halo 4. I believe that’s been confirmed already.
I am into it so from my point of view, it would just detract from the experience and if Halo 4 is going to be huge, i rather not have them cut corners for something as simple as Kinect.
