So I stream Halo 5 gameplay on twitch (directly from my xbox, not through a PC) and have recently got a kinect hoping to add a facecam. I re-synced the kinect, it recognizes me, sound levels are good, angle is good, privacy settings allow kinect/broadcasting, etc. Everything is good pretty much EXCEPT the important fact that the facecam doesn’t show up when I boot Halo 5.
I find this VERY disappointing since I booted up several other games and the facecam works, only when i boot up Halo 5, it doesn’t work. So it’s not the settings on my Xbox, the twitch app, or the kinect, it has to be something with Halo 5. I’ve included pictures to show what I’m talking about:
Not playing Halo 5 (playing a different game)
Playing Halo 5
Here is another person with the same issue on reddit.
I’m having the same issue.

hwm mc Posted this possible workaround. I have no idea if this works.
