Kinect Compromise?

I’m one of the people who are against analyze and Library being Kinect-only. I don’t care about yelling grenade and reload, but the analyze and Library are my biggest concerns. Heres what I think:

A TU that allows the analyze to be able to be used on controller. Then, a DLC that requires you to pay for the Library.

Obviously, this won’t be released for a while after Anniversary comes out, so those Kinect users can have their fun. This would make us pay for the Kinect, but not go overboard by spending $100+ on a device you may not use very often. I think most people would agree that this is fair, Kinect users get a early pick at the Library, and can feel special, and the non-Kinect users, though delayed, will get an opportunity at it.

Please don’t scream at me saying this is impossible. I admit I really don’t know how or if this is possible. But if it is possible, please consider this, 343. Don’t shut out your fans from an awesome feature. Don’t split the communtiy.

I guess that wouldn’t be so bad. Paying for the Libary, instead of Kinect. But the uproar people will cause about that (and rightly) would be so much worse. I think eventually I’ll have to get the upgrade to Kinect.

Heh… the uproar goin on now is pretty bad. I made this compromise idea mainly to allow controller users to use analyze, but also to stop the Halo community from going Kinect and Non-Kinect. I don’t want the community to split, and Im guessing that would be a horror to 343.

I see where you are coming from OP, I really do but I wouldn’t want Microsoft getting any ideas in the future about making us pay for content that has been removed from the game just so that they can make a little bit more money. The same thing happened with Gears of War 3 on the Horde DLC where they removed content that was already introduced into the campaign just to make their DLC look better. I refuse to support those type of ridiculous practices.
