Exactly what i thought.
One of the many reasons I won’t be buying LE, any of the DLC and instead spent my money on Battlefield Premium 
I am keeping my LE pre-ordered, but I feel like there is a lot of clearing up on the subject. I do love reading anything BS Angel posts though. It was just missing something.
All it would take is a simple “this is what happened this is why this is where people got confused this is where information went wrong, we’re sorry” and I would be satisfied

It feels like they’re just going with the “if I can’t see it, it’s not there” approach to this problem.

Just give it a rest. The solution to the problem is very simple. If you don’t want the LE don’t buy it. End of discussion.
What I really find weak is that they shut down the 70+ pages long thread and forbid us to talk about the subject. How mature to decide for your community what problems it can and can’t discuss.

They shut that thread down because it had turned into a gigantic flame war and people were insulting BSangel.
The problem with that thread is that people couldn’t seem to understand that no one is forcing anyone to buy the LE. If you feel that you have been lied to, or mislead, in regards to the contents of the LE then simply don’t buy it.

Anytime you say 343i or their employees are bad/wrong, the thread gets deleted, what an absolute joke. Bungie never did that on their forums and on their forums you can call out mods for being tyrannical.

Yup. I mean seriously, just yesterday it promised us the exclusive armor. But no longer…

That’s because Microsoft made a mistake. 343i probably saw it after people here noticed it and asked them to change it.

Simply not buying the LE or downgrading it without saying anything doesn’t let the developer and the lead of Halo 4 marketing, Microsoft, know how deceitful their marketing strategies are to consumers. That’s the major problem in this whole debacle.
