I find it a bit unfair that 343 is giving early access copies to famous youtubers and streamers. I am a huge halo fan and always have been. Ive personally been waiting so eagerly for halo 5 to come out and I was extremely hyped to play it, but now my hype kind of disappeared and Im not very excited for it anymore. I was also going to use the hype of the midnight launch to stream it and get a few viewers, but now its going to be a bit harder due to the fact that everyone has already seen the first few missions.
I would have preferred that people didn’t get early copies. It’s been very difficult to avoid streams and videos from people who have it but I’ve done well so far.
This is one of the most childish threads i have ever seen on this site. We have 10 days. Seriously?

Yeah…they aren’t really sticking to their own release date…in the end what this comes down to is them thinking this is like a promotion and it’s gonna make them more money. Like handing out a few copies to established youtubers is like free advertising. But now i’m irked and want them to unlock the game early a couple days early, or at least unlock the campaign.
Just start a youtube channel and get famous in time for halo 6.

Unlocking the campaign early would be amazing!
Why are people acting like this is something new for video games? It’s called a review copy people it’s not that hard…

Well your a nobody that is of no value to 343, these youtubers offer free marketing to their fan bases for 343 while you streaming the game gets them nothing. Seems pretty obvious to me…

Well twitch has some playing it who have zero followers, and barely 50 views so idk.

It’s called a “review copy” and it’s a fantastic thing for consumers. When developers refuse to let people look over games before launch, that’s when you know there’s a problem.
And how does this in any way invalidate your purchase?
If you are a big enough member of the community you can get a review copy. You dont even have to particularly like halo, but if you have a decently popular website, YT Channel, or Twitch Channel, you can get one.
It really isn’t hard to avoid spoilers, just dont go on youtube and dont go to click bait threads on here. Pretty simple if you ask me, have some self control.

I get why they sent it out to certain people early and I get why people are annoyed its not the easiest thing going dark. But seriously I should not be seeing potential spoilers from the broadcast tab when I’m just scrolling through the Xbox dashboard.
