This new “SEASON 1 OUTCOMES REPORT” is kind of insulting. With more than 7,000+ words, it appears to be an example of amplifying the noise level to hide the real issues. We all know what the problems are. How about spending less time writing a manuscript and more time fixing them. But if you really need to write something, how about just a couple of thousand words on the Road Map you promised us months ago.

Yeah, about that “roadmap”. They already have one, it’s just they don’t plan on telling the community what their real plans are.

We’ve been asking for more communication. Acknowledgement of where the game is at and what they are doing. For info on what is going to happen in S2.

There’s a contemporary axiom that says, “Those who can, do; Those who can’t, teach”. While 343i is not teaching, they most certainly are not doing… Don’t waste time writing a dissertation about the philosophical and emotional reasons why something may or may not be fixed in the future. Just fix the damn thing and tell us it’s no longer a problem.

Accurate username. Quality of the forums is taking a SHARP dive.
What’s more of an insult is bonnie ross insulting the fans and saying we are a “threat” to making halo for a “broader audience”.
I love halo and played since ce, spent alot of money on halo merchandise etc.
But thats a slap in the face and seeing how much of a mess 343i is atm management need the sack and Phil Spencer needs to step in to help sort this out with extra support and new management.

Wasn’t it more a loose interpretation of a comment made by the interviewer?
But as Ross notes, even as 343 shoots for the stars of a “universe,” it has to reckon with several factors that threaten to keep it grounded, including those aforementioned fans.

Was there any more context? Like the actual words she used… as opposed to an over view by the author.
And I get that she’s the villain in this story. But are we reading too much into this?
Oh God no. I appreciate his love for Halo but I really don’t gel with his meandering / apologetic style of presentation. It’s not my cup of tea. I think I’m too old for that.
Did he have access to a direct quote by Ross saying the fans were a threat?

Understandble aha, he and others went through various interviews etc. I believe he quoted it but with out looking back through and finding it i cant link the his sources
I think that article drop needed to happen ages ago. That’s the type of information that I needed to see.
Despite the lack of action on 343’s part, some people needed to be brought up to speed.
I made posts about discrepancies between MCC’s and Infinite aiming systems about 3-4 months ago. This is the first time I’ve seen any mention of it from 343.
Honestly, I’m just glad that info drop gave people more to talk about besides the typical “343 did this or that.”
My gamer tag is kind of a litmus test for those on these inter-webs. It can show who is tolerant and accepting and has a sense of humor.
I had one like that once too, but I changed it when I stopped smelling my own gas.
You’ll find that they are not one of those people unfortunately.
Here’s to hoping we finally get word on that elusive roadmap before the sun goes supernova.

343 are notorious and proven liars…there is no roadmap. It’s literally a toddlers gambit of “I know the answer but I don’t wanna say” they are just trying as hard as they can to push the heat off of them so they can continue to be lazy and not make any effort. Meanwhile the skin store makes all the money they need

What you said is part of the reason I stopped playing. Look at how long the game has been out and what have they really offered other then the BP/shop?
They are acting like the Bungie today that likes to sound good and make all theses promises, but their actions literally show otherwise.

They did the same thing in Halo 5.
One update 343i decided to nerf the BR so it was less reliable and had a longer kill time than the pistol, making the BR unusable. They also ruined the SMG, and nerfed the energy sword massively due to competitive CTF.
The community said they disliked the changes. 343i’s response? They know best apparently.
It’s unsurprising that 343i are still ignoring their player base. I believe in interview they said it was the player base holding 343i back (something along the lines of 343i want to reach the stars but the player base are trying to drag them down again)
TLDR; Why is this surprisingly when 343i have rarely ever listened to our feedback? Halo Infinite is basically dead with about 2% - 3% of the launch player base still playing matches, and that number is dropping every single day.
